Great location to explore and enjoy Amalfi. Good value with last minute rate. Staff very helpful, the proprietor met us in the town center to have our car parked and show us to the room for check in. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

The close proximity to the harbour and town. Good resturants. Very central to buses and boats for trips out.
Could be noisy due to close proximity to boat and bus activity. Also a great deal of steep steps up to the apartment. Not suitble for elderly or infirm. An absence of any fire safety advice.

Not a hotel as such(over a road tunnel) but original with great views.
Not a hotel - breakfast taken in traditional bar 200 yards away.

Location was very good. We arrived in Amalfi by bus and were met by James, who was very helpful and showed us to the apartment. The apartment was adequate, not spotless, and in need of some refurbishment. However, it was spacious enough for a family and the views from the balconies were wonderful. It is also very close to the town and port. We had breakfast every morning at a nearby cafe, which we enjoyed a lot more than most of the offerings at other hotels in Italy.

The location is at the central of Amalfi, though it would be a bit noisy at the night.
This place should've been likely only as a b&b or even less!! Which has no reception/breakfast dining room/HOT WATER/service. There is no so- called "service", for the staff is only from a travel agency who called himself "manager" and only handle request before 10pm, who even left the office number to us only. When we arrived 8pm in Amalfi from Sorrento, he didn't mention anything about the hot water is avaliable before 10pm, and made all of us had a very terrible night. The manager also threaten us to call the police and said he would charge the full price from my credit card even we were super angry and dissatisfied, which is absolutely the worst travel experience in my life!!! The floor was dirty, and it smelled moldy in the room.Besides, the "breakfast" was in a small cafe, which offered only orange juice, one croissant, one cup of coffee -- That's all. Hereby I want to suggest anyone who wants to be guaranteed to have a great quality of accommodation, do not try your luck with this "Hotel", it's not worthy it to take the risk!!! As the manager told us: maybe you could get the hot water sometimes, maybe someone switched it off and I didn't know anything about it. Then why are you here????! That's truely happened, and I still can't believe that he would dare to answer a basic question like that! Wish you luck, random traveller!

The travel agent James was helpful, he texted to ask when we were planning to arrive and was waiting for us when we got there. The view from the room was wonderful, and we were 'serenaded' to sleep by waves lapping unto the beach! The kitchen equipment was adequate, and there was plenty of room for the three of us, with a double bed and 2 sets of sofa beds that converted into 4 singles.
It would be nice if they had a fridge, plus the walk up almost 4 flights of stairs was occasionally challenging!

The location to all services and transport was a real bonus. The view from our room was magnificent.
The bathroom was not clean. There was mildew in the shower and quite a few ants on the walls and the floor. It let down the rest of the facility. Everything else was fine.

Simply fantastic. If you ever want to know, what is Amalfi, come to stay in this hotel. Sipping Chianti on the balcony bathing in the summer breeze from the sea at the staring night, this is exactly the Amalfi in my Dream. As an architect, I was fascinated that this unique building is literally a cliff house build on hill side, and even more, over the tunnel. It is very quiet . Nice, clean room, with breath taking view of the ocean, the whole harbor is in your arm. James is a very nice host, who showed me from Ravello bus route, wine shops to sim card store..... I love everything about this hotel, and I will for sure come back again. Don't be intimidated by the steps mentioned in other review, it is real Amalfi and actually, it is fun. The hotel is very easy to find, and i particularly feel more intimacy with the city when James shows me the easy pass to the town center and the harbor. it is kinda fun.
I just love this hotel.

Very nice place to go. Amalfi is a most beautiful spot on the coast.
